Far Right Plot To Assassinate Macron During Trump’s Visit Has Been Stopped By Police

A 23-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged with “individual terrorist activity”  in France, because he was planning to assassinate French President Emmanuel Macron during President Trump’s visit to France next Friday, on the 14th.

The 23 year old is a self described far right nationalist and told Police that he wanted to make a statement by assassinating Macron while Trump was visiting. He also said he wanted to attack, “blacks, Arabs, Jews and homosexuals.” Sure sounds like a far right nut job to me.

Counter terrorism police found out about the suspect’s plans after he talked about buying an AK-47 on a “video game site”, and users of the site reported him. The crazy thing is, is that this same 23 year old was convicted of terror related activity last year according to France Info. If that’s true, it’s a bit confusing to understand how this person wasn’t in prison after being convicted, but as this is breaking news, I’m sure more details will emerge soon.

The 23 year old was planning to assassinate Macron on July 14th, during a parade on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, where President Trump is set to be a guest of honor. Unfortunately folks, this is just the start. This is what happens when you have the hysteria surround politics that we do right now, particularly on the right, where people feel empowered by President Trump and all that he stands for.

Macron has messed with Trump online, with an alternative campaign website called “Make Our Planet Great Again” a dig on Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan, and he’s even made a short video alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, whom Trump has feuded with recently.
