Trump has had more than his fair share of “senior moments” during his abominable first year as president. He’s wandered off on more than one occasion before being led back on track by security. In recent weeks, his mental fitness has come under extra scrutiny due to his off the wall tweets.
Trump recently tweeted that he is a “very stable genius” who is “like, really smart.” He also gloated about going to the “best college.” He did attend The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for a whole two years.
When asked by reporters about the president’s mental health, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders assured reporters that he is of sound mind and will undergo a physical exam.
Trump’s exam is scheduled for this week at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center outside Washington, D.C. The White House said it would make the results public. However, there is one glaring problem.
According to White House spokesman Hogan Gidley, Trump will not undergo a psychiatric exam. Gidley told reporters aboard Air Force One, “No.”
Gidley added, “He’s sharp as a tack. He is a workhorse, and he demands his staff to be the same way.”
Just last night, Trump forgot the words of the National Anthem while he stood on the field before the Alabama-Georgia title game.
This news about his physical exam comes as a shock since Americans want to know if Trump is mentally fit to be president. Nobody cares about his physical shape.
