Kim Yo Jong, the sister of the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, sat behind Vice President Mike Pence, during the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
As the United States entered the arena, we were treated to a rare visual display, as Kim Jong Un’s sister Kim Yo Jong gave Mike Pence a harsh and disrespectful glare, known by many as “side eye.” Optics for the Trump administration and Mike Pence in particular, are heavily controlled, so seeing him receive a death glare from someone seated right behind him is unusual.
The content below shows the incident as it unfolded, including footage and clips. Be sure to share this post around, Mike pence certainly won’t like that.
