Former Trump campaign adviser and admitted Russian agent Carter Page says in a newly resurfaced video, that he attended “a number of meetings” with President Trump. This is huge because this morning, Page denied having any interaction with Trump.
Today during an ABC News interview, Page said that he “never spoke” with Trump “any time in my life.” He was pressed on whether he had ever communicated with the president, including over email or text, to which he replied, “Never.”
I asked former Trump Advisor Carter Page if he had spoken with President Trump since Oct 2016, while under surveillance; he told me “I have never spoken with him any time in my life.” https://t.co/XeHBbTf0on

In a video clip posted by MSNBC contributor Scott Dworkin, Page admitted he personally met Trump during a press conference in Moscow, Russia, in December 2016.
“I made a commitment not to talk about the internal work that I did at the campaign. I’ve certainly been in a number of meetings with him and I’ve learned a tremendous amount from him.” Page said, which you can confirm in the footage below.

Reporter: Have you met with Donald Trump?

Page is at the center of the GOP memo released last Friday, about the FISA warrants that were used to obtain surveillance warrants on him. The FBI had been watching Page for some time.
This clear lie by Page is damning because many suspect Trump could have been caught on tape talking to Page, because the FBI was wiretapping Page since well before the 2016 campaign. It’s entirely possible they talked about lifting Russian sanctions at some point.
