Trump held a meeting in the Oval Office this afternoon with lawmakers, to discuss a possible bipartisan immigration deal. Trump reportedly grew frustrated during the meeting and made disgusting comments about people from Haiti, El Salvador and other African countries.
As part of the immigration deal, lawmakers are seeking to restore protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries. Trump responded by asking, “Why are we having all these people from sh*thole countries come here?”
Senators Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), and Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.), were present at the meeting and were among many who were shocked by Trump’s comments.
Trump followed up calling African countries “sh*tholes” by suggesting that we should be focused on bringing in immigrants from Europe instead. Below are some photos from El Salvador, the place Trump thinks is a “sh*thole.”
Haiti, another “sh*thole,” is in fact a beautiful island that is working to revitalize its tourist industry. Its also nice enough that Forbes recommend it for travel for 2018.

I wonder what other African countries Trump thinks are so terrible? Interesting that he singles out African countries in general. It’s not hard to figure out why Trump automatically calls certain countries “sh*tholes” and only wants people who look European coming into the U.S.
