Trump Makes Saturday Announcement About GOP Memo & Plans To End Russia Investigation

If you have not yet heard, Trump authorized the release of the highly controversial Nunes’ memo, that alleges bias at the FBI over FISA warrants obtained to initiate surveillance on the Trump campaign in 2016.

The memo was quickly debunked within hours of its release, especially considering Nunes never actually looked at the FISA warrants that he claims are bias in the memo.

But it looks like Trump sees the memo a different way and is preparing to use it to take any steps he can to end special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. Trump posted this morning, that the memo “totally vindicates” him and attacked the Russia investigation as “an American disgrace.”

“This memo totally vindicates “Trump” in probe. But the Russian Witch Hunt goes on and on. Their was no Collusion and there was no Obstruction (the word now used because, after one year of looking endlessly and finding NOTHING, collusion is dead). This is an American disgrace!” Trump posted.

It could not be more clear that Trump is going to try and end the investigation. If he thinks he is “totally” vindicated, then any steps he takes to end the investigation are justified in his mind.

If you really thought that you were being unfairly investigated and you had a memo that you think completely delegitimatizes that investigation, then why would you not try to end it? Trump posted this statement as justification for the actions he is going to take.
