Trump Spends Morning Praising Rep. Nunes But It Just Backfired In Worst Way Possible

President Trump this Monday morning, elevated Representative Devin Nunes to being a “Great American Hero,” because he wrote and helped release the controversial secret memo that has been debunked, for giving a misleading representation of the FBI’s actions during the campaign 2016.

Unfortunately for Trump, Nunes spent his Monday morning a little differently, and made a statement that has utterly destroyed any possible shred of credibility he had left. Trump supporters can no longer defend Nunes after this jaw-droppingly ridiculous statement. But first, here is Trump’s statement;

“Representative Devin Nunes, a man of tremendous courage and grit, may someday be recognized as a Great American Hero for what he has exposed and what he has had to endure!” Trump posted.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Nunes this morning, actually claimed that there is no evidence former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos met with Trump. It is astounding that Nunes cannot remember the widely circulated and highly reported on photo of Papadopoulos, in a major campaign strategy meeting with Trump.

“If Papadopoulos was such a major figure, you had nothing on him, you know, the guy lied,” Nunes told “Fox & Friends.” “As far as we can tell, Papadopoulos never even knew who — never even had met with the president.” You can see it in the footage below.

Nunes needs to be removed from the House Intelligence Committee and should not have anything to do with the Russia investigations after making a statement like that. It is true fake news and dangerous propaganda. Trump went all in with Nunes by praising him this morning, but he is praising someone who is either a liar, or has no idea what he’s talking about when it comes to very serious matters.
