Trump’s First Ex-Wife Just Took Credit For Donald’s Success & Described What Kind of Father He Was

Ivana Trump, President Donald Trump’s first wife, is out hawking her new book and trying to attract attention, by giving up previously unknown details of her marriage with Donald. Donald will certainly not be happy with her new interview that aired today on CBS, where she claimed credit for things that our “president” uses as bragging rights, such as his children.

Ivana was asked by CBS News correspondent Jim Axelrod whether she missed her old life with Donald, “Do you miss the old life? Life with Donald?”, to which she confidently replied, “I don’t, no.” Ivana bragged a lot about her life, to which Axelrod made the point that she likely wouldn’t have what she does without Donald.

But when pressed about this, Ivana actually took credit for Donald’s success. Axelrod asked Ivana, “He wouldn’t be who he is without you?” to which she replied, “That’s for sure.” She seems to have a point as well, as she pointed out that Trump was basically a nonexistent father.

Ivana said she was “very proud” of how their three children, Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka, presented themselves during Donald’s presidential campaign because they were, “articulate, intelligent.” Axelrod asked whether she or Donald raised their children, to which Ivana took full credit. “It was definitely me,” she said.

Ivana also clearly showed resentment for Marla Maples, Trump’s second ex-wife, whom Donald had an affair with. “Well, she’s — I don’t — talk about her,” she said, refusing to call Marla by name, “She’s a showgirl. Never achieve anything in her life.” She said she gets along with Melania though, “I get along with Melania. Yes.”

Ivana was careful not to speak too poorly of Donald, but she did so in a sort of “wink wink” way, as she laughed every time she asked about him. You can see the entire interview in the clip below.
