Conservative Explains Why Less Democrats Will Fall Victim to Coronavirus Than Republicans

Right wing media and Trumpers are losing their minds after Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin delivered uncomfortable facts right to their doorsteps on Sunday. What she said was harsh, but it is factually based. Yesterday on MSNBC?s ?AM Joy,? the Post’s Jennifer Rubin theorized that less Democrats will die of Coronavirus than Republicans because they are more likely to follow guidelines set out by the government and the CDC.

Rubin was asked to comment on a piece titled, “Older Americans are more worried about coronavirus, unless they’re Republican.” Joy Reid pointed out that trying to warn Republicans who are in “greater danger” is difficult?because, “they’re not listening to anything.”

?There is a particular cruelty, irony, that it is their core viewers, the Republican older viewers, who are the most at risk,? Rubin explained. ?And when you think about it, which party immediately canceled all of their rallies? Which party immediately started having their political figures really portray and use their lies as an example? It was the Democrats.?

?So, I hate to put it this way, but there will be less Democrat deaths because there will be less mass gatherings,? Rubin continued. ?There will be less opportunities for people to congregate and share this horrible disease. So it is really a very short-sighted strategy.? You can see all her comments in the footage below.

I mean, this is just factual! Ever since Donald Trump took a laid back view towards Coronavirus, his supporters and right wing media lined up right behind him. Trumpers are now equating warnings and precautions about Coronavirus with an attack on Trump and therefore are remaining willfully ignorant about steps they should be taking.

It’s not even a debate or disputed fact that Democrats are vastly more educated than Republicans. Pew Research has confirmed that the majority of college graduates are Democrats, as in 2018 for example, it was reported that 54% of graduates are Democrats with 39% being Republican. Rubin may have delivered a hard pill to swallow here, but she’s not wrong and has the facts on her side.
