Former President Obama Privately Convincing Donors of Who He Wants as 2020 Democrat Nominee

Multiple sources, including major Democratic donors, have revealed that former President Obama has unofficially threw his entire support behind 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren. President Obama has said that he will not publicly endorse any candidate in the primary, which is why his support for Warren is essentially unofficial.

President Obama has mainly been focusing on convincing donors that are hesitant to support Warren because she is speaking out tough on Wall Street and the 1%, which of course is great for anyone not wealthy. Some donors that have spoken to Obama say he’s worried that Democrats that work in financial services related to Wall Street, ?will have an issue her,? so he is trying to ?rally the troops? preemptively.

Obama is telling donors that if Warren gets the nomination, they must put aside their greedy interests and fully support her so we can take back the White House. Part of the reason President Obama is now supporting Warren, is because he knows what she can do because she has worked for him, according to one donor, ?I think he feels licensed to give an opinion on her because he?s ?hired’ her.”

Some folks may forget that Warren joined the Obama Administration in 2010 after she became an assistant to the president and special adviser to the secretary of the Treasury and during her time in the administration she helped set up the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She is in fact the original creator of that Bureau and was the first to propose it in 2007.

President Obama is also reported to have asked every candidate, “three questions” of “Is your family behind you? Why you? And why now?” and Warren, “checked the box” on all these questions Obama wanted answered.

This is particularly interesting because former Vice President Joe Biden and President Obama have long been considered to be good friends. President Obama not supporting Biden is definitely significant enough to not be ignored due to Obama’s still incredible support within the party.

If that’s not enough to convince you, just days ago, more than 200 former Obama administration staffers, some of which worked on his presidential campaigns as well, all publicly announced their support for Candidate Elizabeth Warren. President Obama indeed has the power to tip the scales.

What these sources report completely matches up to Obama’s recent public statements that call for a female president. ?I?m absolutely confident that for two years if every nation on earth was run by women, you would see a significant improvement across the board on just about everything?living standards and outcomes,? Obama said according to the BBC.??If you look at the world and look at the problems, it?s usually old people, usually old men, not getting out of the way.”

Obama has also said though that he will support whatever candidate wins the 2020 nomination, even though now we know he wants Warren to win. The first primaries are incredibly close in what will be one of the most important presidential elections in history, so stay tuned. Enjoy your holidays, and we will see you again soon.
