Behavior in the last 24 hours by GOP Senator Lindsey Graham is truly hard to explain, as he had a remarkable encounter with House Chairman and impeachment manager Adam Schiff, after last night’s impeachment trial hearings. Graham has also decided to take a firm stance against Donald Trump’s desire to subpoena Hunter Biden.
ABC news reporter Frank Thorp V quoted Graham telling Chairman Schiff, “Good job, you’re very well spoken.” The capture below and happy looks on their faces seems to confirm the quote. After praising Chairman Schiff, Graham then got on social media and called Democrats’ case, “professional” and “articulate” while also saying, “They were prepared and very, very, very thorough.”
Earlier Friday, Senator Graham revealed that he has decided to vote against a possible motion to subpoena Hunter Biden if the Senate decides to introduce more witnesses and documents to the impeachment trial. If anyone in the Senate introduces a motion to subpoena Hunter Biden, Graham said “I vote against it.”

Graham said he would be open to looking into the Bidens at some other point, “I don’t want to call Hunter Biden. I don’t want to call Joe Biden. I want someone to look at this when this is done. To my Republican friends, you may be upset about what happened in the Ukraine with the Bidens but this is not the venue to litigate that.”
It’s hard to tell why Graham is out here praising Chairman Schiff and going against Trump’s desire to call the Bidens into the impeachment trial. We do know that Graham is self serving and only wants to look out for himself. Graham might be afraid of pulling the Bidens into court because it is not them who are guilty, but it is Graham, and the Bidens have dirt on him.
Back in November of last year, Biden told CNN’s Don Lemon in an interview, “Lindsey is about to go down in a way that I think he’s going to regret his whole life.” Biden made these remarks during a discussion about the fact that Graham said he was open to investigating the Bidens. This could explain why Graham is scared to subpoena the Bidens, but it could also be many other things. Regardless of intent, Graham absolutely betrayed Donald Trump by praising Schiff and standing against Trump’s desire to pull the Bidens into the impeachment trial.
