Ivanka Trump Explains Why She Thinks She’s Above The Law & Doesn’t Have To Follow Federal Rules

Ivanka Trump made an appearance on ABC News in an interview broadcast Wednesday in which she did exactly what her father does when he gets caught doing something wrong; distract.

In the interview, Ivanka said it was fine that she used her private email account to send “hundreds” of emails about government business last year to White House aides, Cabinet members and her assistant. Important to note is that many of these emails are believed to be in violation of public records rules.

Ivanka was asked by ABC News about the obvious hypocrisy of Donald Trump attacking Hillary Clinton over email when it’s obvious that Ivanka did the exact same thing. “Well, there really is no equivalency. All of my emails that relate to any form of government work which was mainly scheduling and logistics and managing the fact that I have a home life and a work life are all part of the public record. They’re all stored on the White House system so everything has been preserved. Everything has been archived. There just is no equivalency between the two,” Ivanka answered.

So in other words, Ivanka is saying that she did nothing wrong at all. She is deviously trying to distract from the fact that she broke federal records rules by differentiating what she did from what Hillary Clinton did. But the fact is that she violated rules, so it doesn’t matter if what she did was different from what Clinton did, because that doesn’t change the fact that she broke federal records rules.

White House aides were “startled” by the volume of Ivanka Trump’s personal emails and were surprised that when she was initially confronted about it, she said she was “not familiar with some details of the rules.” Fortunately top Democrats have called on the White House to provide more information about her private email account and the nature of her messages. With the House going back into Democrat control after the midterms, we can get to the bottom of this.

Ivanka Trump should not be in the White House for reasons just like this email scandal. She is completely unqualified and was not elected by the American people. She is the product of nepotism and needs to be removed immediately from her still undefined in the White House. Her unwillingness to admit that she did anything wrong is a serious problem.
