Donald Trump held a Coronavirus response meeting at the White House today, where he took questions from reporters. CNN’s Jim Acosta once again was the only reporter in the room willing to risk his career to ask Trump the questions that need to be asked.
Acosta asked President Trump, “What do you say to Americans who are concerned, that you’re not taking this seriously enough? And that some of your statements don’t match what your health experts are saying?” Trump could barely keep himself from jumping in while Acosta was asking his questions.
The questions seem absolutely reasonable to us, but Trump fired back, “That’s CNN. Fake News.” He then waved his hand and said, “Go ahead, thank you very much everybody.” A member of his staff then started screaming, “Come on let’s go! We’re done!” You can see it all in the footage below.
Trump?s response to @acosta?s good question about concerns he isn?t taking coronavirus seriously enough was to call CNN ?fake news.? White House handlers then immediately forced reporters out of the room. pic.twitter.com/aARJOBHs18

This is all Trump’s fault. The experts said from the beginning that we needed to slow down travel and start preparing medical supplies such as masks and testing kits as soon as China had their outbreak. But instead Trump called it a Democrat hoax. He failed to use the vast resources on hand that the most powerful country on Earth has at its disposal.
The president should be the most informed person in the country. But instead Trump was breaking every single guideline last week by shaking hands with every person he saw as recently as a few days ago. That’s why he refused to answer Acosta’s question and had to throw the press out, because the question was factually based.
