I’ve been desperate to get him into the best academies with the best coaches, but the level of football in America is much lower than the rest of the world. I saw his frustration, and I also felt it was a good time. I felt like we needed a change, and I wanted to get out of America for a minute – as you know, this is not America’s finest hour – not that leaving America makes anything different or changes anything. I’ve lived in other places; I lived in London for 10 years. I like to put myself in uncomfortable situations and take risks.” Read the exclusive interview with Madonna by @xerxescook in our new issue and today on vogue.it 🌟 Full credits ❤️ Talent #Madonna Editor in chief @efarneti Creative director @gb65 Make up @visionaaron Hair @andylecompte @thewallgroup Manicure @adamslee_ @streetersldn Skincare @mdnaskin Props stylist @franciscotrepa Props @avidaportuguesa On set @ Across Media Production Local production @warsawcreatives Retouching @ Dreamer Locations @nomadportugalproduction Thanks to Joao Brito and Cunha for their hospitality With thanks to Turismo de Lisboa
Madonna now lives in a new mansion in Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, along with her Malawi-born children David Banda, 12, Mercy James, 12, and twins Stella and Esther, five. She turns 60 on August 16th and said she is enjoying her new status as a “soccer mom.”
She acknowledged that moving doesn’t do much to change the current state of political affairs here, but maybe it does. We often here about celebrities claiming they will move if a politician is elected, but they never follow through. Well, looks like Trump is so bad that one of the most popular musicians of all time actually followed through and got out of the U.S. If only we could all afford a mansion and do the same.
