Mexico Responds After Trump Says ‘Biggest’ Part Of Their Deal ‘not yet been revealed!’

Donald Trump hinted that there is some secret part of his latest “deal” he believes he made with Mexico over trade and immigration. He is desperately searching for a win right now, but it looks like this deal is the Trump University of diplomacy instead.

“If Mexico produces (which I think they will). Biggest part of deal with Mexico has not yet been revealed! China is similar, except they devalue currency and subsidize companies to lessen effect of 25% Tariff. So far, little effect to consumer. Companies will relocate to U.S.” Trump said this morning.

But despite all this, Mexico has responded to Trum’s claims and Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard said Mexico has not agreed to any secret immigration or agricultural deal. Ebrard confrmed that Mexico only agreed to keep monitoring the flow of migrants to the U.S. to see if it will drop in the coming months. “Let’s have a deadline to see if what we have works, and if not, then we will sit down and look at the measures you propose and those that we propose,” he said.

So basically Trump hasn’t made much of a deal at all. His threat of tariffs was pretty extreme and this agreement to simply keep watching the data isn’t much of a concession at all from Mexico to get the threat of tariffs eliminated.
