Donald Trump is out causing even more chaos early Saturday afternoon after he revealed that he’s considering some kind of short-term quarantine on New York, New Jersey and certain parts of Connecticut. “I’m thinking about that right now. We might not have to do it but there’s a possibility that sometime today we’ll do a quarantine. Short-term, two week on New York, probably New Jersey and certain parts of Connecticut.”

Reporters in New York quickly asked New York Governor Andrew Cuomo about this during Cuomo’s daily press conference, “The president said he is looking at some sort of ‘enforceable’ quarantine for New York, New Jersey, parts of the tri-state area. Is that a sound policy from your perspective? Or would you advise again that?”
“I don’t even know what that means. I don’t know how that could be legally enforceable. From a medical point of view, I don’t know what you would be accomplishing. I can tell you, I don’t even like the sound of it,” Governor Cuomo answered. This is disturbing, to say the least. His answer is in the footage below.

Trump does not comprehend the consequences of just casually throwing the idea out there of sealing off the entire state of New York and other states. It is worrying too to hear Governor Cuomo basically call Trump’s suggestion illegal, especially considering the fact that Cuomo has previously served as Attorney General of New York.
