President Trump In Panic Mode As New Poll Brings Him Into Impeachment Territory

President Trump is clearly on the ropes, and he knows it. A new ABC News/Washington Post poll puts Trump at a new historic low for any US President, with just a 36% approval rating, a full 6 points lower than a similar poll conducted after his first 100 days in office. This historically low approval rating gives Trump the lowest six-month approval rating of any president in the past 70 years.

Trump complained and attacked the poll just a couple hours ago, like he always does. It really has no impact though, as the Trump name has zero credibility. Especially after this Trump Jr scandal hit, not like it had much to begin with anyway. “The ABC/Washington Post Poll, even though almost 40% is not bad at this time, was just about the most inaccurate poll around election time!” Trump posted on social media.

It was the usual for President Trump, attacking anything that is negative towards him, due to his extreme insecurities.

Only Gerald Ford’s six month approval rating in 1975 comes close to Trump’s, when he saw a 39% approval rating at the same point during his Presidency. This brings Trump into what many experts believe is guaranteed impeachment territory.

Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather has predicted that the GOP will have no choice but to drop Trump, if his approval rating falls below 30 points.

“They’re afraid that he may have indeed committed some impeachable offense, and also they’re hearing from home that a lot of their constituents have increasing concerns about the Trump presidency,” Rather said last month, “As long as he’s able to hold that 35, 38 poll rating – you may not see that, but I repeat for emphasis, once it gets down below 30 percent, you’ll see some Republicans going the other way.”

Trump should be panicked, as we already know that there is more to come on this Russia scandal. It’s only going to worse, and with Trump Jr’s scandal, it has already been getting worse, as Trump’s approval rating reflects.
