The only way we are ever going to come to terms with conservatives over how damaging Donald Trump’s behavior is to America, is to agree on the facts, and we might have just made some progress on that front this week because of top Fox News Host Tucker Carlson.
Carlson admitted for the first time that Trump is a scam artist on his show this past Wednesday night. It did not happen in the most ideal way, as Carlson’s segment was focused on defending Trump from all the negative/truthful media coverage of his time in office, but at least a very influential conservative talking head now agrees with us on the facts, so we should take it.
During the segment on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Carlson acknowledged and accepted that fact-checkers at The Washington Post have confirmed more than 13,000 false or misleading statements Trump has made since 2017, not even counting before the 2016 election.
Carlson called Trump a “compulsive self-promoter” and a “full-blown BS artist,” or what most normal people like us call a scammer/scam artist. “One of the reasons progressives say they hate Donald Trump is because he lies a lot,” Carlson said at the start of the segment. “Trump, they’ll tell you, is a committed liar.”
“As the Post points out, the lying began at the inauguration. Perhaps you remember this claim, which, at the time, deeply offended official Washington,” Carlson said before going on to play a clip of Trump claiming that his inauguration drew the largest audience “ever.”
“We’re not going to lie to you,” Carlson said. “That was untrue. The crowd at the 2017 inauguration was not the largest ever measured on the National Mall. Sorry, it wasn’t.”
“Why did the president claim it was? Well, because that’s who he is,” Carlson continued. “Donald Trump is a salesman. He’s a talker. He’s a boaster, a booster, a compulsive self-promoter. At times, he’s a full-blown BS artist. If Trump hadn’t gotten rich in real estate, he could have made a fortune selling cars.”
Great Tucker, now we agree that Trump is in fact a “BS artist” and that’s “who he is,” which means that he isn’t going to change. Which is why we need to impeach him and get him out of office. Thank you Tucker Carlson for agreeing with us on facts that can only lead to the conclusion that Trump must be removed from the White House. We can’t have a scammer in the White House because guess what scammers like to do? SCAM! And they generally never stop SCAMMING until they get caught! And even then!
Carlson went on to say that “most people know this” about Trump’s lying but I disagree. People like Tucker Carlson and Fox News fail to deliver an accurate portrayal of Trump and do not properly inform their viewership that Trump is a scammer. This is the first time he is admitting all of this, so how could “most” people know this if this is the first time he is acknowledging the fact that Trump is a scammer?
