UPDATE 10:53 AM EST: TRUMP returning to NYC TONIGHT! PROTESTS TO MOVE FORWARD TOMORROW!
President Trump arrived in New York City last night, marking his first trip to Trump Tower since his inauguration in January. Numerous sources confirmed that President Trump would be spending three nights at Trump Tower in the city, and would arrive Sunday night, and leave sometime Wednesday. The NYPD warned drivers that they would face street closures, security checkpoints and heavy congestion while Trump spent his three days in the city.
But President Trump announced this morning that he would be returning to Washington today, cutting short his three day trip. The reason for this is obvious; huge anti-Trump protests in the city. Trump has avoided visiting the UK out of fear of protesting and has consistently shown during his Presidency that he has no tolerance for them. His fragile ego is truly terrified of them.
“Heading to Washington this morning. Much work to do. Focus on trade and military.
#MAGA” Trump posted this morning.
As he landed last night in New York City, protests were already underway, with thousands in attendance. Protestors swarmed Trump Tower in a huge group of at least 1,000 people, shouting?”No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA.” Numerous protestors held up sign calling for President Trump’s impeachment.

Thousands more also began protesting at Union Square, not too far south of Trump Tower, in New York City.
There are numerous other protests going down in the city today, with many popping up at a moment’s notice. Trump would have been heavily protested for the entire 3 days he was planning on being in New York City, so it’s no wonder he is running off back to Washington today.
