Well look who’s laughing now? We don’t feel an ounce of sympathy for GOP Representative Matt Gaetz, after he just became the latest member of Congress that now has to enter self-quarantine because of attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
Gaetz is the absolute moron who wore a gas mask on the floor of the House to mock Coronavirus. Coronavirus has in fact killed over 3,000 people worldwide. The last thing that it is, is a joke. Gaetz must feel real dumb right now for his charade, but it actually gets even worse for him related to Donald Trump, as we will cover in a moment.
In 2012, I wore a hoodie on the House Floor to make a statement about the deadly consequences of racial profiling. On Wednesday, @RepMattGaetz wore a gas mask in the chamber, making light of an epidemic that has killed 14 Americans.

Gaetz says he doesn’t have symptoms, but he ?received testing today and expects results soon.” Can you imagine the look on his face as they tested him? His social media manager posted just before 4 P.M. that, “Congressman Gaetz was informed today that he came into contact with a CPAC attendee 11 days ago who tested positive for COVID-19.”
Here is where it gets crazy. Because Matt Gaetz decided to take this virus as a joke, he put Donald Trump in serious danger. CNN reporter Manu Raju reported just after 4 PM. and confirmed that Gaetz spent a lot of time with Donald Trump this morning on Air Force One. The image he shared below confirms Gaetz was with Trump this morning on the air plane, an isolated and ideal environment for Coronavirus to spread in.

Trump fits the exact definition of people who should be most worried about Coronavirus; age 60 and up with one or more preexisting conditions. There is a nonzero chance Donald Trump contracted Coronavirus from someone at CPAC or Matt Gaetz. If Gaetz ends up testing positive, we will be facing an unprecedented situation. This is a good lesson that pranks are just not a good idea.
