Conservatives and Donald Trump love to try and push back on the fact that Trump refuses to condemn violence on his side and last night at his rally, he proved it without a shadow of a doubt. During his rally in Florida, one of Trump’s supporters yelled out that migrants crossing the border should be shot.
Trump literally laughed at his supporter and refused to condemn the comments. Trump was talking about how U.S. Border Patrol agents are not allowed to carry weapons to deter migrants, “And don’t forget, we don’t let them and we can’t let them use weapons. We can’t. Other countries do. We can’t. I would never do that. But how do you stop these people? You can’t.” That’s when his supporter screamed out, “Shoot them!” Trump’s response was equally as bad.
“That’s only in the Panhandle you can get away with that statement,” Trump joked in response. “Only in the Panhandle.” Important to note that Trump’s initial reaction to the person screaming “shoot them,” was to laugh. You can see it all in the footage below.

Trump wants to start shooting at people crossing the border and if he could, he would. In march he did an interview with Sean Hannity and said the use of guns would be “very effective” even though it was not an option.
“Other countries stand there with machine guns, ready to fire,” Trump said at the time. “We can’t do that. I wouldn’t want to do that, okay? It’s a very effective way of doing it but I wouldn’t want to do it. We can’t do it.”
