Less than an hour after continuing his fighting with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Donald Trump started another fight with Michigan’s Governor Gretchen Whitmer. At the exact moment the nation needs to come together, Trump is tearing it apart with this unprecedented fighting.
“Failing Michigan Governor must work harder and be much more proactive. We are pushing her to get the job done. I stand with Michigan!” Trump said. How can you say you stand with Michigan when you are hating on their Governor that they elected!? He even had the audacity to post right after this, that the “Federal Government is working very well with the Governors and State officials.” Obviously it’s not! Trump probably would have blamed the governor of Hawaii for Pearl Harbor if it happened during his administration.

Trump is starting problems with Governor Whitmer because during his video conference call with the nation’s governors yesterday, he told them they were on their own in getting critical supplies like respirators or medical masks. She responded later in the day and rightly said that Trump saying such a thing is unacceptable.
“I mean, it’s amazing to hear the head of the federal government say don’t go through the federal government because it works too slowly. We have to cut red tape, we have to harness all of our assets and make this happen. This is a dire situation,” Whitmer said later in the day on CNN.
A real problem here is that Trump is unable to take criticism and admit he is wrong about anything. I mean, just look at what he said recently, “I don?t take responsibility at all, because we were given a set of circumstances and we were given rules, regulations and specifications from a different time.” You can hear Michigan’s Governor explain her side of the story in the footage below and you will see that Trump’s attack on her is disturbing, to say the least.
