London Mayor Sadiq Khan said Friday that President Trump had “got the message” from Londoners after canceling his visit to the United Kingdom. Far right Trump supporters did not like what Khan had to say and tried to take the law into their own hands today.
“President Trump got the message from the many Londoners who love and admire America and Americans but find his policies and action the polar opposite of our city’s values,” Khan said in a statement released on Twitter.
Many Londoners have made it clear that Donald Trump is not welcome here while he is pursuing such a divisive agenda. It seems he’s finally got that message. pic.twitter.com/YD0ZHuWtr3

The far right Trump supporters stormed an event featuring London Mayor Sadiq Khan and held up American flags in the air while they attempted to conduct a “citizen’s arrest.” They specifically referenced Trump during their interruption.
The interrupters were met by Police after several minutes, who promptly removed them from the building. The protesters are believed to be members of the “White Pendragons group.”
After the protesters were removed, Khan took another jab at Trump. “It is a pleasure to be here even though we were distracted by the actions of what some would call very stable geniuses,” he said.
