White House Confirms Donald Trump Chooses to Stand with His ‘white power’ Supporters

The Trump Campaign, the GOP, and the White House, have been in full damage control mode after Donald Trump shared footage of his supporters on social media literally screaming out “White power!” as they rode around in golf carts covered in Trump campaign merchandise.

But perhaps because Trump is realizing he cannot beat 2020 frontrunner and former Vice President Joe Biden, he is trying to activate and reinvigorate the racists that helped get him into office, the same people that loved what he had to say about Mexicans in 2015 and 2016.

Trump deleted the social media post in which he shared the “white power” message and the initial cover up was given to us by White House spokesman Judd Deere, who claimed Trump “did not hear the one statement made on the video,” and that, “What he did see was tremendous enthusiasm from his many supporters.”

But this morning Trump decided to double down, confirmed by White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. She confirmed that despite these people getting caught on film screaming “white power,” Trump still has their back and that Trump has made it “very clear to me that he stands with the people of The Villages.”

On Fox News McEnany explained, “So, the president did not hear that phrase and that portion of the video, and when it was signaled to him that this was in there he took that tweet down, but he made very clear to me that he stands with the people of The Villages, our great seniors, men and women in The Villages, who support this president.”

“He stands for them, and his point in tweeting out that video was to stand with his supporters who are oftentimes demonized. So he didn’t hear that portion, he took it down, but he does stand with the men and women of The Villages,” McEnany added.

This is clear support for the racists in the footage and ruins the White House’s initial spin on this. It’s just as bad as Trump having shared the footage in the first place. He cannot claim he did not hear it, but then say he still stands with them! Think about it, Trump is claiming he did not hear “white power,” and that’s why he deleted the post, but now he’s saying he still stands with them…after acknowledging he now knows they were screaming white power!

You can see McEnany confirm this all in the footage below. The theories that say Trump is trying not to get elected are now starting to make more sense. But at the same time, it is also possible he sees literally supporting “white power” supporters as a way for him to activate racists in this country to get re-elected. It won’t work, but he’s clearly willing to give it a try.
